-
- Many people aren't aware of the fact that Super ZZT has a built-in
- editor (yes, unregistered versions included!) At the command line prompt,
- type:
-
- SUPERZ /E
-
- Then press 'E' from the main menu. Pressing 'W' from the main menu allows
- selection of worlds.
-
- The editor is very similar to ZZT, although Help is missing and there are
- a few more bugs and limitations.
-
- The color selection is done differently. Although 'C' still selects the
- foreground color, you must use other keys for other colors:
-
- F8: Select foreground color
- F9: Switch foreground color between light and dark colors
- F10:Select background color
-
- Keys F4 and F5 bring up additional lists of enemys and terrains. Note that
- the Bears now look like snakes. The Stones seem to have no value. Picking
- them up adds them to your inventory, but I have not found a way to #take
- them or use them in any way.
-
- The Pairers and Dragon Cubs (Uglies) do nothing except sit there, waiting
- for you to shoot them. They are fairly useless enemies.
-
- The 'H' key, (for hints) activates the label :HINT within all objects that
- have such a label. This is how you can use the hint feature...Or you can use
- the 'H' key for something else.
-
- Although you can still use the time limit feature (in the board info menu)
- and it still works correctly, it is not recommended since the time is not
- shown on the screen when playing.
